Why all these weird endorsements and/or qualifiactions about rape from the GOP? Because sexism is one of the 14 identifying characteristics of fascism.
The others include nationalism, militarism, racism, repression of labor, worship of corporate power, controlled mass media, contempt for intellectuals and education, religiosity used for political manipulation, rampant cronyism and corruption, fraudulent elections, obsession with national security and the destruction of civil liberties.
The GOP cheers for every one of them, you’ll note.
