The Lesson in the Leaves

I like to remind myself that trees have two seemingly contradictory qualities that we should try to emulate: suppleness and solidity.
They’re supple where they need to be, swaying in the breeze, and solid where they need to be, braced against the storm. We should be tactically supple and resourceful, while being philosophically solid and centered.
