It's a Mad, Mad World

In a country with a corporate media that celebrates a bestseller full of lies "written by" an illiterate woman who didn't write it, and who explains that she quit her job because she’s "not a quitter," nothing can really be called "crazy" anymore, can it?

    Someone I know recently expressed the fear that Santorum might get the GOP nomination. I told them that this would be my fondest dream-- and that he pick Palin as a running mate.

    She's an almost-perfect mirror or the idiots who rally to her: ignorant of history, economics and reality, unreflective and with little to no intellectual curiousity.
