The Ryan-Biden debate went just as I thought it would. As I’ve said previously, like Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden is no sap and slaps down lies in a debate.

The reason the Republicans so vocally and insistently hate both of them so much is because they FEAR both of them so much.

Biden's playful smile during his debate drubbing of Lyin' Paul Ryan — the smile that so infuriates right wingers — was recognizable as the grin of a tiger who has just spotted an easy meal.

You can't let lies go unchallenged, as Obama did and as Biden was not about to. That is fatal. They must be called out for what they are at once. In 21st century echo-chamber America, any unchallenged lie is immediately the truth.
