What Journalism Should Be

Smartphones aren’t cheap in the U.S., but they cost a great deal more in Indonesia, where many men, women and children die digging the tin that must go in them. My old friend Cam Simpson, the London-based investigative correspondent for Bloomberg News, exposes all that here. His writing is specific, vivid and unarguable in its factual reporting. This is what 21st century journalism could be and should be and so rarely is.
