A Practical Squirrel

Of the Physical Science Building

Atop the bare tree,

A gray squirrel

Skitters to a stop,

Sights, shifts tail slightly

Springs

Soars

Skims six sunny feet to seize

Safety with sangfroid.

No theoretician he.
