Stationing armed guards in every school in America will not
prevent mass shootings, but if the NRA likes the idea, fine.
The American taxpayer should not bear the considerable cost,
however. Let the plan be paid for by the gun industry, in the form of a heavy
surcharge on all weapons and ammunition sold in this nation.
Let the gun owners of America at least pay in money for the
privilege of resisting all sensible regulation of firearms. After all, the rest
of us are paying for their obsession in blood.
Let’s see how the NRA, as a wholly owned subsidiary of the
blood money gun industry, likes their idea now.
