A decade ago, once the fascist direction of the Bush and
Cheney administration had become clear, I suggested that the U.S. government
would eventually be assassinating American citizens without evidence, trial or any rule of law.
People laughed and told me I was crazy, that such a thing
could never, ever happen in America. Now those same people actually ENDORSE the
very policy that was too ridiculously horrifying for them to contemplate a few
years ago.
Americans should jettison the eagle as a national symbol.
It’s really no longer appropriate. I’d suggest a blind sheep would make a good substitute.
