Despite all the big talk we're hearing now in the corporate media, I don't really think a damn thing will be done about guns in this nation. Any change in the law would have to get past the House of Representatives, and the House of Representatives is full of Tea Bagger looney tunes.
The only ray of light I can see is if rich people are starting to worry about being shot dead in the country. They might pull the plutocratic puppet strings of change. 
So far, the only tangible result of all this is more guns.
But you don't fight merely because you can win. Sometimes you fight because it's the only thing you can do and live with yourself.
