Sarah Palin personifies the very reasons America is in the mess it's in — aggressively ignorant, self-pitying narcissism shamelessly shilling for the highest bidder as it sashays itself down the American Idol runway, absolutely certain that God wants it to have designer clothes.
Of course, Palin explains that she answers to a “Higher Calling.”
And God said unto Sarah, “Abandon ye the office to which thou wert elected. And inscribe thy name upon a book thou didst not write. And mooch thee designer clothing. And pity thyself. Poor, poor Sarah. The whole of the universe revolves around thee, now and forever. Thou art awesome. Thou betcha!”
